Software Application Engineer

Position Summary:

The ideal candidates primary responsibilities include development of software solutions (design, coding, testing), system/subsystem definition, interfaces, technical leadership, teamwork and team guidance. Position requires extensive hands-on technical expertise coupled with ingenuity, product knowledge, industry knowledge, and communication skills.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Math, or Business Equivalent
  • PICK programming experience or education equivalent
  • Experience working with PHP, JavaScript, SQL, Object-Oriented Analysis and Design
  • Experience with or strong understanding of Agile methodology
  • Significant analysis and design experience as well as proven solution implementation
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical problems and demonstrate problem solving
  • Resourcefulness in obtaining information and resolving issues
  • Ability to work as a team member and with limited supervision
  • Strong management and organization skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of Time and Attendance, ERP, Human Resources Information Systems, Payroll and/or Talent Management Software applications a plus
